International use

QuickBooks Complete supports international users by reflecting the accounting data and tax behavior defined in QuickBooks. QuickBooks remains the source of truth for tax setup and currency values.

Currency handling

  • Amounts sync to monday using the currency configured in QuickBooks.
  • For relevant data types (invoices, estimates, purchases, purchase orders, customers, bills, and bill payments), the currency is synced as a separate field.
  • Since the same amount field could have a number in different currencies, avoid summing up these values in monday. It’s possible with more advanced use of monday to build the dashboard or other mechanism to tally multi-currency data; please reach out to our support for advice.
  • The app does not perform currency conversion. It syncs and presents the currency values already stored in QuickBooks.

VAT and tax handling

  • VAT support is included for international workflows.
  • Tax handling automatically switches between line-item level vs invoice/estimate level.
  • Country-specific tax rules are implemented in QuickBooks; the app does not re-implement tax rules, but rather only sync the data back and forth.
