Virtenia Sync - QuickBooks Complete Integration for monday launched in 2022 as Platform Pioneers Integration for QuickBooks / Automated Invoice Tracker.
August 2026¶
Accounts are now a supported QuickBooks data type for synced boards, item views, editing, and Automations.
The QuickBooks Profitability dashboard widget summarizes customer and project profitability.
Product/Service boards include more catalog and inventory fields, while ordinary Product/Service edits no longer risk changing quantity on hand.
Linked boards now receive newly supported fields automatically. QuickBooks Complete reuses compatible columns or creates missing columns, updates the mapping, and populates the fields without a manual board-update step. See Automatic column mapping and updates.
The Connections table now shows the number of Automations mapping configurations for each QuickBooks data type.
Connection setup and board updates now recover more automatically from interruptions. A board may briefly show that it is syncing during recovery; no user action is normally needed.
July 2026¶
Automations replace the legacy invoice-only AutoCreate setup. monday automations can now create all supported QuickBooks data types from reusable field and line-item mappings.
The new Activity feed shows company connections, board links, automatic column additions, and full re-sync operations. Sync Activity continues to show record-level changes between QuickBooks and monday.
Board setup now previews automatic column mapping and supports relinking previously connected boards.
Expense item views now support changing the billable state of customer or project lines. Customer selectors now display projects and sub-customers under their parent.
A user who authorizes a QuickBooks company now receives full rights for that company.
Dashboard widgets for account balance, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Item views now include customer status for boards that are not synced by QuickBooks Complete.
QuickBooks lifecycle changes now retain monday items and represent their state with an Active or QuickBooks Status field. See Inactive and deleted QuickBooks records.

Projects support: customers and projects now sync to separately configured monday boards. In earlier behavior, projects could appear on customer boards because QuickBooks models projects as a specialized customer type.

QuickBooks-triggered deletion of monday items was added to the ongoing sync process. Historical deletes were not reconciled during a full-board resync. This behavior was replaced by retained lifecycle status in July 2026.

The QuickBooks Complete team aggressively tracked down the root cause of many recent and historical support inquiries, fixing each. The software now runs so smoothly that if you reach out through our Support page, most likely you will have the team’s undivided attention.

We’ve fixed a long-standing problem where occasionally an account sync process would get “stuck” and require intervention from our support team. Affected customers are happier!

2024 saw various evolutions of monday.com’s API with corresponding changes in Virtenia sync behind the scenes to continue processing correctly.
2023¶
The product had many enhancements, especially in the details of the synchronization process and automatic triggering of change processing from QuickBooks. Ultimately, the product became fully stable for customers by combining the automatic triggering plus a regularly scheduled sync catch-up process.
2022¶
QuickBooks Complete formally launches in the monday.com Marketplace under its original name, “Integration for QuickBooks”. With the software now much easier to find, the customer base grows rapidly.
2021¶
Development begins, followed by a private beta program late in the year. Since the software deals with customers’ financial transactions, a lengthy beta program is important to work out many of the details of correct data flow.
