Installation

To get started with QuickBooks Complete, follow the usual monday app installation process. monday will prompt you to select a workspace to install QuickBooks Complete and leave you with a folder similar to this.

Re-installing

There is an oddity in the monday app installation process. If you click "Cancel" partway through, you have installed the app but not yet used the template included with the app to set up your workspace. To get started afresh with the app, even though you already have it installed:

  • Navigate to the monday app Marketplace
  • Click "Installed Apps" at the top
  • Click "View App" next to the listing for QuickBooks Complete
  • Click the "Use App" button.

Older installations might have somewhat different names as the product has evolved; past names include Virtenia Sync, IQ, and Integration for QuickBooks. You can rename your workspace folders or other elements at your preference.

Here is an example of an older installation with an obsolete name and only customers and invoices included:

Connecting to QuickBooks and monday

With the above workspace folder in front of you, choose "QuickBooks Complete" (labelled "Virtenia Sync - start here" or similar in some older installations). You should see the connection and authorization information:

From here, connect to QuickBooks and to monday. You can then proceed with using the application.
